Smarter Ventilation Starts with Motion The MC-C uses passive infrared (PIR) technology to detect movement. When someone enters the room, the sensor activates your ERV system. When the room is empty, it turns the system off after a delay. You can adjust the delay timer up to 30 minutes. Therefore, you gain greater control and efficiency. With a 22-foot motion radius, the sensor covers up to 1,500 square feet. It’s perfect for high-traffic areas like offices, gyms, schools, and commercial buildings. Fast Setup. Reliable Operation. This sensor runs on 15–28VAC and uses only 30 mA of current. Its isolated relay supports 1A @ 30 VAC/DC. You can easily mount it on ceilings between 8 to 10 feet high. Moreover, the MC-C integrates smoothly with RenewAire HE and RD Series ERVs. These units come with a 24V transformer and relay, so installation is quick and easy. However, you can also use this sensor with most third-party building control systems.
